＜Reasons for choosing Dokkyo University＞
Dokkyo University is one of my university's partner universities, so I got to know Japanese students from Dokkyo back in Germany. They told me many good things about it, and since I had made friends with them, I decided to study at that university in Japan. Also, other German students advised me to choose Dokkyo. Apart from that, it is really close to Tokyo, which is easy to get to from Soka.

＜Impressions of Dokkyo University＞
The teachers are all so nice, and they really tried to help us with our studies. At first I was afraid that we had to study so many things, but I got really interested in it because the whole atmosphere is so comfortable. Apart from that, I was able to make friends with many of my classmates from other countries. Moreover, the teachers seem to work together very well in order to help us with our studies. At first, there seemed to be so many tests, but by the end of the semester I realized that I had learnt so many things and my Japanese had improved.

＜Message to prospective students＞
I'm sure that new exchange students will enjoy their time at Dokkyo University. The people at Dokkyo are really nice and it is easy to make new friends there because there are so many students who are interested in learning languages and understanding foreign cultures. Also, you can always be sure that the teachers will do everything to support you. If you get the chance, you should try to join some clubs or circles: you will meet so many nice students.

Philipps-Universitat Marburg is a partner institution of Dokkyo University. I became friends with a Dokkyo University exchange student who had come to Germany.

All the teachers are nice, and the students are friendly. The atmosphere makes it easy for students to focus on their studies. After classes, students can assess their progress in Japanese language through conversation with their Japanese friends. In addition, the tests conducted at the end of each unit provide useful feedback.

I think Dokkyo is a good university for international students. There are many club activities that you can participate in after classes; you can make friends, take your hobbies to a new level, and have fun.
Dokkyo University specializes in languages, and all students study two foreign languages; they are the same as you, language students, so it is very easy to become friends with them.
Course time is running when you stay here; try to enjoy yourself!
